How to install android jelly bean 4.1 on micromax A110

I have recently purchased a Micromax A110 mobile phone and it is pre loaded with Android 4.0.4 ICS. I want to know how can I install the latest Android Jelly Bean 4.1.1 on my device. I have experienced the new operating firmware as it is very smooth and much faster. I am willing to install the same on my device so that my device too functions smooth and quick. Please help me with this.

Micromax has confirmed that they will release the latest Android 4.1 Jelly bean update to their A110 phone very soon. So you may need to wait for sometime. They will release it very soon as they are testing and working on it. You can install the operating firmware well on your device by performing a rooting method or upgrade when availed via OTA or pc suite. Rooting would be much tedious and difficult as it needs good knowledge.

The update when available all you need to do is to sync your phone to your system via pc suite. Make sure your system is connected to internet. Then open the suite application and check for software updates available for the phone. When Jelly bean is availed you will get it in the software update list. Click on upgrade and follow the desired steps and procedure that you may need to follow. It is very simple. Other than you can also perform the update via OTA. Just go to Settings and then navigate to About Phone. Check for updates and perform the same if listed.

Hey this was really great. Thank you so much for the help you all provided. I will wait for sometime. If it takes too long I will perform the root options and install the operating firmware with use of boot loader. Thanks a ton.

Rooting is good to do but there is always risk to do this because it will void the warranty and you cannnot claim for any damage to the phone. Other than this, if you do any wrong thing with the phone then that will lease to damage your phone permanently. So I always avoid rooting the phone.

yes, this is why I always keep my phone away from rooting. I am happy with what I am having by default from the manufacturer. If you want more enhanced performance from your phone then it will be better for you to get more advance phone that can fulfill your requirement.

I have updated my device from the method posted here. I was a bit afraid of it earlier but after following the instructions step by step, I managed to do that. Go to the link provided by d0nen0w0kay. There is a video demonstration for the same and it will make the things more clear to you.
